After ET: pre-menstural symptoms

Hi, Newby here ... just underwent first ivf cycle and am now waiting 2 days after embryo transfer. I know that there is supposedly no signs of telling if your pregnant, but I wondered if anyone could tell me of their personal experience of this waiting. I am already having all my regular pre-menstrual symptoms, slight cramping and aching and am praying that am not going to get my period. Have other people experienced regular period symptoms and still been pregnant?? I am going crazy with the waiting

I guess the cramping could well be from all this people that have been fiddling with your inside lately...

Hi Mel,

I just went through my 1st IVF cycle and ended up with a BFP. I had cramping from ET on and as the days past it got continually worse. I swore that AF was coming but it never did. Please don't read anything into it. We have so much done to our bodies and the meds we are on can give us symptoms similar to PMS.

Hang in there and good luck with your 2ww. Come over to the general forum, there are lots of women on their 2ww.
