Can it really be.............? Another miracle!

Am still a little shocked while i write this! We started down reg. drugs for our latest IVF attempt on 1st December, normally i have a bleed after 10 days but it didn't happen this time. Rang the clinic on Friday as my down reg blood tets are due, and they said do a preg test to rule it out - then carry on with the drugs another week and we will test again. So Friday night did one test - it was positive!! After doing 3 more (also positive) rang the clinic in panic and went for a scan today . . . . I'm pregnant! A little early still about 5-6 weeks, will go back on 3rd Jan for another scan! Have been so low this year. we really have had a miracle of some sorts for this to happen. Have been told over years i will never have kids and IVF is our only hope. Have been reading your postings with amazement as this has happened to now 4 of us! I am so grateful and scared and excited and thrilled and feeling sick!!! Lets all keep in touch! Eve xx

Suzanne, Michelle, Rachel & Lisa, Thankyou all so much, me & hubby have had a dreadful year this year - maybe our luck is now finally changing! Am still in shock a little, feel alittle sickly and have sore boobs, also have the hugest smile on my face. Hope this little thing inside me likes it and continues to grow! We are going to family for Christmas to be pampered absolutely rotten! Might share the good news with just one or two! Eve - just seen your news - congratulations- it is so amazing isn't it. Just come back from a weekend away and the Dr. confirmed my pregnancy yesterday evening so it's only now beginning to sink in. feeling quite rough at moment with throat infection and cold but have been advised not to take anything except paracetomals, and I'm trying not to take those even. I don't care how rough i feel - its worth it in the end. Anyway hope you and Dh have a wonderful, sober Xmas and here to 2003!! Lulu
