we just came back, drove all night so very tired. Disney was great, I really enjoyed it! More than the kids i think!

Ours was originally just coming to us for the 2nd half of the school holidays - from 30th December. We always split the school holidays and it didn't occur to the other parent that my DP seeing his son actually at Christmas might be ...er....important.
So after a bit of negotiation he is now coming for one day on the 27th and then going back to his mum until 30th! In 3 and a half years we have never once had him for Christmas Day, but always for New Year!
Anyway, we always have a big Christamas on the day he arrives with abourt 20-25 family. DP cooks so its usually a lovely day for me - I just get drunk!
My stepson asked for a Nano about 3 months ago so DP went out and got it nice and early to make sure we got one. Then about 2 weeks ago he asked for a PSP. So he's now got a PSP.................and DP has got a Nano!!!

Thanks. My stepdaughter (16yrs old) came to live with us just as I was starting IVF and I haven't been very sociable with her, in fact I've been a bit of an evil stepmother, have been rather self absorbed during IVF. But when I found out a couple of days ago that IVF hadn't worked she came back from her works outing specially to give me a hug and then went back to her works outing! So she is a little diamond after all!
