I've just found out that I'm pregnant again - but this time it happened naturally. Am a little shocked to say the least. It took us 4 years and 3 rounds of fertility treatment to conceive our little boy, who is now nearly 9 months old. So, it never occurred to us to bother with any contraception as I was pretty sure that I would never get pregnant again without some intervention.
We are delighted. Lots of mixed emotions at the moment. Excited but also scared that it is all going to be OK with this pregnancy. It is very early days - I am only 5-6wks gone. I have PCOS, which increases your chance of miscarriage. So everything is crossed again.
Don't know what else to say. Still can't really believe it. The news is still sinking in.

Third ICSI July 2005 BFP and praying it continues!! 6, 8, 12, 13(Nuchal) 20, 25 and 28 week scans successful! Emily Ann Cane born 8.4.06 - more beautiful than we could have imagined
Similar happened to me, we were told that due to male and female factor we would need fertility treatment and were about to start IUI. Somehow a little miricle occured and I am 28 weeks pregnant. The only thing I did differently from the years of trying was to relax. I had resigned myself to needing treatment.
I hope everything continues to go well.

Congratulations Barny! What a fantastic surprise. I wanted to let you know that the same thing happened to me - we both have fertility issues, so didn't use contraception after the birth of our older son, and I was pregnant on his first birthday, even though still breastfeeding. . . . I too have PCOS but gave birth to a beautiful healthy second son just before Christmas, so try not to worry about miscarriage too much, there's no reason why your lucky streak shouldn't continue! Well done you. Relax and enjoy your pregnancy - it's a bit more tirigng second time around I found, but worth every minute!! Becky x

So far so good it seems. Just over 8 weeks now. Have had a little bit of spotting which is a bit of a worry but I try not to get too stressed about it because I know it's very common.
Thanks for your messages ladies.
Sandra - it's good to see you back. Got everything crossed for your test date.
