ZIFT vs IVF Which has better results?

Post by Melinda »

I am new to these messages boards, but want to get as many opinions as possible. My husband and I have tried 3 AI procedures (2 that were IUI's). My husband has a low sperm count and motility. We don't know if that is the only reason of our infertility since I haven't had any tests for me.
We are contemplating changing fertility clinics. The clinic we now go to is very conservative and only do IVF (implantation of 2-3 fertilized eggs max.). The other clinic we are thinking of changing to does mostly ZIFT and is more aggressive (up to 5 fertilized eggs). I have checked the CDC website under ART and found their success rates, but that doesn't really help since not all people/clinics are the same.

Does anybody know which procedure has the best results?
Also, what are the chances of multiples?

Thank you...

Hi Melinda

Hi & welcome to the boards, you will get lots of support & advice here.

Can't help with your query re ZIFT. In UK we are generally only allowed to transfer 2 embryos. Whereabouts in the world are you?
