Post by langton »

Hi was anyone at st mary's manchester today. just wondering if anyone is in the same boat. Today i started my stims along with usual scan. went home ready to carry on with my injections tomorrow. Only i got a phone call from the nurses about 4.30 to say STOP STIMS. Apparently there is something going on in the lab and not good. there is some virus growing in the incubators(spelling?)Really i am compleatly baffeled by this.if anyone knows more info write back.

Anyone else been told this today.?

Hi Hayley,

I was at St Mary's on Fri for day 8 scan and have been back today for day 10. I've had 3 calls from the nurses with details for injections since Friday yet no mention of what you've been told. Have you heard any more? As far as I know I'm going in for egg collection on Tues but will let you know if I hear any more.

Hope you can keep going.

Ive not heard anythin either. I had EC on 24th Jan and ET on 27th Jan. The nurses havent said a word to me about it, I'm all worried now.
I'm on my 2ww, trying not to stress, but this little piece of info scares me. I hope everything will be ok. Does anyone think its because its NHS and not private..??
