Hi...My husband and I are had our first IUI after 18 months of trying/tests/medicines to try to conceive January 28th, and developed OHSS (ovarian hyperstim) from the Follistim.I had a serum HCG drawn 2/2 that was 63, one 2/6 that was 16, and one today that was negative. I realize that those results are the result of my HCG trigger. I still am not feeling well from the hyperstim and was told that the hyperstim takes longer to subside when you are pregnant.
My question....is there ANY chance that this cycle still would have a positive ending even if my serum was neg today, or is it too many day po at this point?
Hi Homefries. Welcome to the Site. I haven't done IUI, but I would think that test day is 2 weeks after transfer, just like IVF ? If that's the case, I would say that today is too early to test. If transfer was 28 Jan, test day should be around 11th - ie. Sat ? We've seen many cases where, testing even one day early can affect the results.
There's a thread dedicated to IUI on the General forum. Why don't you have a look over there where you'll find a few others who have been through the experience.
If you can't find the thread, just shout and I'll bring it back to the top for you.
Good luck
