Where are you doing your SQ injections?

Post by miel »

Hello all, I've got a question....
I have two injections in the morning. I always do one (luperon) on one side of my belly button and one (gonal-f: 150units) on the other. Well, this morning, I only had a half dose(75 units) left in my gonal f pen. So I had to do that dose and do the other 75units from a new pen. Anyway, I tried to do the second half to the upper right of my belly button. (above my other gonal f shot) It bled like crazy and left a welt, and then bruised like crazy. Where are you all doing your SQ injections? I need another place as a back up. I cannot reach the back of my arm! Any suggestions?

Miel! Hello! Subcutaneous injections can be given in the abdomen, back of the arms and in the thighs. The website below has wonderful pictures to help you!
