hi we are a 40 year old married couple and after failed ivf treatment are now looking into embryo donation and were wondering if anyone had any information on how its done and how we could go about finding a donor in the nottingham derbyshire area. any help would be greatly appreciated many thanks sue and les

Hi do you want an egg doner so the egg can be used with your partners sperm or an embryo donation, either way I think if you contact your clinic you will have to go an the waiting list which I think can be about 2 years unless you find your own donor..either by advertising for one in the press or internet or in fact on this site, you may get a response....

thanks for your reply ive sent you an email unfortunatli my husband is infertile and my egg quaility is poor so its embryo donation i need i didnt realise it was such a long wait

Have you thought of looking abroad for embryo donation. I know they do offer this at IM in Barcelona, not sure of the wait list, but I know there is no wait list for donor eggs, so maybe it is the same for embryos.
