Desperately need help !

Post by Shaila »

Hi,

I don't know where to begin. I had my embryo transfer done on the 3rd of April and today is the 13th day. I began dark brown spotting a few days back and since last night have had light occassional pink bleeding however not like my period. I went to the A&E today and was told don't worry. A urine test proved negative and also a blood test proved negative pregnancy. I was told to go back to the hospital on the 15th day for the scheduled blood test.

I am so worried that I can't stop shaking. Does this mean I have been unsuccessful in this cycle of events ? Does the light occassional bleeding mean I am having my period ? Will another 2 days make a difference to the blood test ?

I can't stop crying.

Hiya Shaila, hang in there honey. Many women do have spotting around the time of their usual period. Don't give up hope just yet. It ain't over until the ugly witch  shows her evil face. Fingers crossed she stays well away.

I have heard of so many people giving up hope before it should have been given up. the two days can make a difference in your numbers. I would not get totally worked up until you are 100% sure about it. I know that they 2ww is so hard. and every day you want to see the lines....hang in there and keep doing what you are doing in terms of treatment until you know for sure. keep the hope!!!

Hi, I know it's very hard going through this 2ww, I too have my own worries, but I have heard of so many people that think its over but they end up with a BFP.

Lots of ladies do tests before their test dates, but these are not reliable.

And I know of many ladies that have what they think is a normal AF and infact they are pregnant.

Please try to calm down, you need to still keep positive, if everything is ok, its not helping your embies, getting all upset.

Wishing you lots of PMA Image
