IVF - April Transfer + and TWINS

Post by MaryAnnandScott »

TWINS..OH MY ..DH is a bit scared, and I'll admit, so am I. :P

I'm 6 weeks pregnant and heard the heartbeats...

I'd love to hear any and all stories of the trials and tribulations of TWINS!

How did you feel? Diet & Exercise? Feeding and Preping for them?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

..BTW ..3rd time was the charm for me..we've been TTC for over 4 years! NEVER GIVE UP!

Congrats that is awesome!! Did you wait for the Beta or did you do an HPT on your own? When? I am wondering how much the twins has an affect on early testing. I am testing Thursday and I put 2 in. I was spotting on Sunday night, but then stopped and not since. What were your hcg levels on your 1st and 2nd beta? I am debating on whether to do an hpt tomorrow or not.

Sorry forall the quesitons. I would welcome twins from my 2 little embies.

Hi.

Congratulations on your twins! :D

After trying to conceive for over 4 years also, me and my partner had our first IVF cycle last october, and I am currently 31w 3days with twins - a boy and a girl  :D :D .

We were also shocked, but I was hoping that we were having twins!!! I feel so blessed to have come to this point and having one of each is even more special. They will be with us very soon, and it seems like after all of the traumas that we have had to go through, time now seems to be flying by!

There is a thread on the 'pregnant after tratment' page, which you might find helpful.

Hope things go well for you. Take Care... and enjoy your twins!!!

Miel-

I'd be happy to share my info...My journey was long too...I transferred 3 whuch weren't given the best grade 1 (4 cell) and 2 (3 cell)..lo and behold..twin. Because we were given a low probability I wasn't hopeful. I didnt do a HPT (didnt want to ruin Easter).

I went for my HCG on day 15 and it was 332, 48 hours later it was 667. No beta was done. I went and there they were 2 sacs! SURPRISE!!!

Lastly, I had no symtoms and i'm even happier to report..no sickness..at least yet. I didnt have any spotting either.

Best of Luck and keep in touch!
