I am currently in the middle of a medicated FET cycle.
A few months ago when I was at the hospital I asked the Nurse if I could take a baby aspirin each day as I had heard that this increases the blood flow to the uterus. The Nurse said that if I wanted to I could but never actually told me at what point in the cycle to start taking it. Can anyone tell me when to start taking aspirin and also when to stop. Should I be taking it now and should I stop during the 2WW - your advice would be brilliant.
Best of luck to you all.

On my natural cycle of IVF I was given the aspirin to take starting from the day of transfer and I took this right up until I knew I wasn't pregnant. I am also doing a FET and am on day 8. I am sure once the snow babies go in my doctor will give me the aspirin to take along with the progesterone. At the moment I am just taken something called Estrofem increasing my dosage the closer I get to transfer day (whenever that may be).
you are supposed to start taking it after transfer and then continue until your result. if you get a -ive, obviously you stop. if you get a +ive you need to ask your clinic what they recommend because some stay stop then but others say continue for the first 3 months to prevent miscarriage.
good luck!

I started taking it just after I ovulated, my acupuncturist told me about it. The only reason I started it after I ovulated is because I saw a new acupuncturist who told me to start it as soon as possible and I just happened to be at that stage. Don't know if it made the difference but this month I am pregnant! I always had spotting so my acupuncturist thought it would help with blood flow to the uterus and help stop this.
I have been trying 2 and a half years and the month I take it I get pregnant?! I didn't have IVF, I've just been on menopur.
I guess we will never know for sure.
She said to take it for 3 months too. I posted on the pregnant after treatment board about this and got 2 replies from people who both did it and got pregnant and took it well into the pregnancy.
I'm still going to check with my doc too though this week.
