Hello All! I'm 23 weeks as of Monday and I had a sonogram done. Everything went well but they noticed that her kidney's were slightly dialated. They told me as long as it was under 7mm it was fine. Hers was at 2mm. They said they it is very common in boys. Has anyone ever heard of this? Any help would be great. Thanks!
Sorry, Tonya, I haven't heard of this. I wanted to keep your question towards the top so maybe someone else can help you...
Best of luck to you and I am sure everything will be fine

My sister in law was told the same thing at her ultrasound, and she was also told that this is more common in boys. Like you this worried her, but when Harry was born he was a healthy little boy. They did monitor him for a little while, but he did not have any problems and is now a very healthy 18 month year old and at present being potty trained.
