I am on my third IVF/ICSI cycle. 1st cycle was cancelled due to high stress level and 2nd was unsuccessful.
36 Eggs were harvested on Friday , but unfortunately only two made it to day three. Therefore, we had two embryos ( one grade 1 & one grade 2 ) transferred on day three.
Everything looked ok until late wednesday. Now my breasts feel very very sore (to the point were its too painful to wear bra or take a shower). I feel hungry and tired all the time and I can not get enough sleep. And my mood is all over the place.
WHAT IS HAPENING TO ME? PLEASE HELP
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Samantha

Hi Samantha. How are you doing? 36 eggs is a huge amount!!! I only got 5! My chest was really sore during the dreaded 2WW. This was to do with the progesteren pessaries. Then they stopped hurting and my AF came! Goog luck with your treatment. Paula x

Hi Moritsha
How are you doing ? Thanks for the reply. Other than the aches and pains ,I am doing quite well. . I understand that some of the drugs can mimic the real thing, but I did not experience any symptoms or side affects last cycle., which kind of worries me.
I guess the best thing I can do right know is not to worry or stress, which is not easy at all, but I’ll give it my best shot.
Many thanks again & all the best with your forthcoming cycle
Samantha

There is nothing that makes the dreaded 2ww go any faster! In only we could close our eyes and wake up 12 days later!!
Try not to worry about the symptoms, its impossible not too! Remember you would probably be worried if there were no symtoms too of course. Theres no escaping it. Take it in small bite size chunks, and try and do a couple of nice things for yourself to get through the time.
The breast soreness is bound to be the pessaries, or on a positive note, the fact that things are kicking in and your in the early stages of pregnancy! Keep up hope, send your wee little fighting survivor of a beanie embyro heaps of PMA. Should be implanting few days after your transfer ... so will send you lots of baby dust to help him dig in
Take care
