Hi Everyone!

Post by nicole »

Hi! This is my first messeage. I am going into my 2nd in-vitro cycle. The 1st resulted in a chemical pregnancy. I had my supression check 2 days ago - my estradiol level was 75 and my doctor wants to proceed anyway (normal levels should be below 50). Has anyone had this happen to them. I am worried that something is wrong.

I was told that my estrogen levels were really high too. I'm not quite sure exactly what the levels were but I want to say that they were in the 100s. There's really nothing you can do about it. I tried to decrease my stress levels, stayed away from heating food or drinks in plastic containers, etc. Try reading up on how to reduce environmental-induced estrogen levels. Zita West's book, Fertility & Conception (i think that's what it's called) explains how to do this. I think higher estrogen levels are an indicator that you may overstimulate therefore, your doc may not put you on high levels of meds. I'm not sure on that though. Well, my first try at ivf didn't work but the 2nd did!! Good luck to you and don't worry too much about your high estrogen level!!
