My name is Ramon and I am a 30 year old male. My wife is 28. We are currently just started our 2nd cycle. Our first was unsuccessful due to a Hydrosalpinix(sp?). Since then, she's gotten that tube ligated. The first time, she only produced 7 follicles and only 3 eggs fertilized. This time they upped the her meds a bit and she produced 37 follicles, which resulted in 31 eggs that were retrieved yesterday, 6/8/06. 21 survived and as of today, we know that 17 fertilized! Much better results.
Here's my question. She's having bad cramping and pain near her ovaries. Is this normal? I'm thinking yes since she had SO many follicles.
no wonder your wife is in pain. ...its quite normal to have cramps and pain....i only had 7 eggs and i had sore cramps........
make sure she gets plenty rest and drinks lots of fluid, preferably water to help flush her system out....now the eggs are out she will experience pain more...
im over 2 weeks now from my eggs were collected and i still have an extended tummy...
wishing you and your wife a bright future... take care.

I cannot believe your wife had so many - it's making me cringe just reading it. I only had 8 eggs, I think they popped about 15 - 20 follies and I could hardly walk for the 1st day, I felt like I was being stabbed, I cannot even imagine!
Just let her take it easy, she needs lot's of looking after! You should get lot's to freeze aswell.
Lot's of luck to you both.
Shelley.
