first normal then slowing down heartbeat

Hi ladies,

I became pregnant unexpectedly, surprisingly and naturally after I had 3 failed ivfs and lost hope. Last week we have seen baby's heart beat, and it was around 120. This week, it slowed down, flickering very slowly than last week. Doc said, it is going to stop and I am going to have a miscarriage. I want to know did this happen to anyone and after slow down, did the heart beat pick up again? all our happiness is gone today and we are so devastated. I need advice on this. I posted this on pregnant after treatment forum also.
