Stimming/follicle question

Hi there,

I had my first sono after starting stims and was looking for feedback. I think i am in pretty good shape. I started stims on Sat, July 1st at a pretty low dose of 225units of Gonal F. Today, I had 12 follies she could measure, and a few she couldn't yet, but she said they were a bit on the small side. I will hear today if my Gonal F dose is going up.

My impression is that this is definitely an ok starting point? It seems like the doc can up the dose if he wants to see faster growth right? I go in again on Saturday and my estimated ER is on 7/13.

Any thoughts or feedback would be great.

sounds to me as if your right on track.....

my drugs were different from yours so cant comment on them.....

anyway i hope everything else runs smooth for you and hope to read good news soon....

sounds great to me! The 12 will most probably get to a good side and I guess you can expect to have few extras!

Gonal F worked like a charm for me on my 1st IVF
Last time I was on menopur and it was not great (5 follies)

Hi girls
I went in for my 1st scan today since starting stims and i don't think it went very well. She said i had 4 follies on my left ovary and 2 on my right then some very small ones that were under 10mms. She said that it wasn't as good a result as she would've hoped for. Got to up my does of menopur from 3 viles to 4 and go back on monday to re-scan. What do you girls think? what sizes were your follies at this stage and how many did you get? Feel a bit upset by this news today,

Hi Lady's,
i remeber how you can drive yourself nuts with your scans one thing i have learnt is it really doesnt matter how many they say you have i think most of us are just praying for that one special embie that wants to come join us as a baby,
for eg i was told at my final scan before EC that i had possibly 5 follies that may contain eggs and i should be happy with that, at my ER i got 11 eggs 10 mature 9 fertilized 8 great ones finaly i had 4 beautiful embies transfered back.....BFN
my friend had 6 follies at scanning they got 4 eggs 3 fertilized she was told very poor quality her twin girls turn 1 year old this month so it really doesnt matter on your #'s and no matter what they say to you your little fighter can be in that bunch
