Bad dreams during pregnancy?

Post by Kabillion »

Has anybody had any bad dreams? My wife Renee had a very bad one last night that I wont go into detail about regarding the babies... anybody else experiencing these bad dreams or had gone through them during their pregnancy?

I hope this isn't her subconscious trying to tell her something! Is it just fear?

That is so weird that you posted this TODAY!! I woke up this morning in tears! I don't find out if I'm prego until Wednesday...but I have had bad bad dreams for the last 3 nights. My husband works swing shift and 2 of those nights he was not here and didn't get home until 7 am. I usually sleep-in with him when he gets home, but I told him that I didn't want to sleep cause I keep having bad dreams!! Not that I'm glad your wife has bad dreams, but I'm glad I'm not alone. Mine weren't about the babies [hopefully there are babies in me], but they were bad. I don't think it's a message, it's probably all the worrying that everyone who goes through this is probably doing surfacing while she is sleeping.

I also had bad dreams during 2WW (I figured was a combo of anxiety & hormones) .... the last week or so I've been so exhausted I sleep for hours on end and don't remember a thing. Feel like I'm waking up from a coma. Not complaining, it just is what it is!

I'd suggest meditation specifc for pregnancy to help with the anxiety - I found a pretty good book & cd if you're interested in hearing more.

Hope Renee is able to get some relaxing sleep soon!!
