Oh my! Can't believe I've got a countdown of my very own! It feels so weird!

Monitoring went fine today, and preliminary bloods came back fine too. Midwives say my belly is all baby and they're not quite sure how I'm managing to breath!! Head's engaged now, so we're on our way.

I have to admit, I'm feeling apprehensive now. Still not believing it. Hope I can do it. Hope I will be a good mum.

Thank you all so so much for all your support and for always being there. I'll keep you posted.

Souris - Thanks sweetie - I can't believe it either!
Thanks everyone else too. Here's a quick update...

Went for a scan etc yesterday. Baby's waist measurement has increased so they are happier now. The plan is (unless baby arrives before which I really hope is the case!) to go next Tues for another scan, doppler etc, then have a sweep on Wed 16th

Then, if still no sign, they will induce me on Fri 18th.

Tried curry and nookie last night, but still no sign. Any other suggestions? Really hope baby comes before I have to have a sweep/be induced! Mind you, as long as baby arrives safely, who cares how it gets here?!

good luck your patience must be wearing thin! my midwife told me its not the curry but the coriander spice in the curry thats is supposed to help unduce labour.
also fresh pineapple is supposed to be good, and its also very yummy!
