Hi ladies
We are going to see our consultant on tuesday to discuss my BFN in May. This was our second attempt. The last cycle we did ICSI because of low fertilisation rate and was stimmed longer at maximum dose. We had the same response as with IVF which has got me wondering about the quality of my eggs(this has been raised before) I have tried to find out info on the net without much luck about this. I do have a high FSH but was told that this was due to reduced quantity, not quality(have one ovary). Has anyone/know of any procedures/clinics that actually test egg quality, besides blood test.
I have asked before at my clinic but have been fobbed off. We are considering changing clinics. I don't want to keep putting ourselves through all the emotional stress with other cycles if we don't at least have a fighting chance.
To add insult to injury I received a letter this week asking me if i still want to keep my one frozen embie. I don't know what to do . They will not do FET with one and realistically if last cycles dictate future ones there will be no-more "spare" embies to join it. It's something I know we have to think about but I just can't bring myself to do it.
Any advice on the egg matter would be greatly appreciated.
