guidelines for IVF

Post by Cori »

I retrned to my dr. for an exam to make sure that I was okay for my second round of Clomis. He said everything is fine and wrote out another script. However, I am a little scared because I had 5 follicles with my last round and still nothing happened. I do have a blocked tube but the other one seems to have free flow as the hsg test showed. I have not had a laparoscopy yet. My dr. today said that in order to know for sure if that tube is completely clear, I would have to have that procedure. What happens if both tubes are blocked. What are the guidelines as to whether you can have IVF or not. Would I definately be able to? Other than my right tube being blocked and possibly the other partially blocked, I have nothing else wrong to my knowlege.
Is there any one who is unable to be eligible for IVF?

Hello,

From what i know anyone is eligible for IVF especially if you have a blocked tube, IVF is known to be great for that because you dont need to worry about your tubes during the IVF procedure and further on.
I wish you goodluck on your journey, if you have more questions feel free to post on the general forum where you will get more responses to your questions...
