1st timer on this site 3rd timer at ICSI!

Post by gayle1803 »

Hello anyone?
Hi I'm new to the site, we are about to embark on our 3rd ICSI attempt, our 1st injection os due on 2nd Oct! Really scared this time as dreading dealing with an unsuccesfull outcome! we know this is our last chance!
Anyone had success 3rd time around? anyone had just one injection to down regultae instead of the usual daily? as this is what our new hospital do instead of daily injection?
Excited but scared

G.

Thanks Debz, I will check it out, we realise how lucky we are that our third attempt is on the NHS, I take it you are funding the treatment yourself! the post code lottery is so unfair! it just puts added pressure on you both. fingers crossed for us all

I found this site and didnt realise it was based in America! I aam located in the UK so it is nice to be able to compare treatment form opposing sides of the Atlantic! That is why I mentioned NHS ( our National Health service) as it is not available to all depending on where you live! Good luck to you too in your treatment, fingers crossed for us all.

Hi and welcome Gayle,

I am on the October buddies thread with Aunty (come on over!) and I only had one lupron injection. Very happy about that. The less needles the better! When AF starts in a few days I will start stims. Is that how your cycle will go? Were you on BCP's too?
Jenn
