Norethisterone

Hi everyone,<br>A quick question I'm hoping some of the old pros out there will be able to help with . . . am about to start injecting Buserelin for first attempt at ICSI (severe male factor + PCOS) . . . and am just waiting for AF (as usual). I took the last of 14 norethisterone tablets (to induce AF as so irregular) this a.m., and am wondering how long it's likely to take before AF arrives - am itching to get started! Anyone got experience of this drug?<br>Good luck to you all! Beck x

hi becky,<br>When I had the norethisterone, I finished the course on the Wednesday, started a bleed on the Sunday, which was very light and completely gone by the Tuesday. I called the unit on the Tuesday, had another baseline scan the next day and started the injections that Saturday (the unit will have to give you a start date to co-ordinate with egg collection/transfer times). the unit told me that once I'd finished the norethisterone that AF would arrive any time up to 7 days. Hi Becky & Sally <br>I posted a simular question on Sunday but i think the post as been lost .I started sniffing Suprecur 22days ago after 14 days no AF(as usual) my consultant told me to take norethisterone 2x3 5mg per day for three days still no AF I rang him on Monday and he said just wait.Well i just want to get started now and I,m getting a bit fed up <br>I think I might call him again tomorrow <br>Anyway hope AF arrives soon for you too Becky and Sally good luck with the injections <br>Sue
