I found out today that my HCG no.s are going down and I've mis carried.
I wanted to know what is the recommended wait period before I can start my next IVF cycle?

I'm really feeling for you, Champa. Has the doctor confirmed it's a miscarriage or is it just under evaluation still?
To answer your question, I went through this earlier this year (heart beat stopped). I was told to wait for 2 natural period before starting again. Meaning, my miscarriage was in April, I got my first period 7 weeks later, then started a cycle of BCPs with my second cycle, and finally did ER/ET in August. I think my RE was fairly conservative, because basically I had 3 periods before the ER/ET. I have heard some will only wait 1-2 periods. My RE said it was important to get your cycles back to normal, though I think he wanted to be sure we were emotionally ready.

Dr. initially thought its a miscarriage but actually it ended up being ectopic pregnancy. So last friday and saturday I was going through the treatments for ectopic pregnancy..
I agree we need to take enough break and alow the body to recover before we start the next cycle. I think I'll do the same wait for 3 regular cycles before starting. Though I want to start ASAP

so sorry to hear your news, i lost a pregnancy at 18 weeks followingIVF the heartbeat just stopped. my professer made me wait 4 months as an absolute minimum recommends 5 months before next cycle.
we too were desperate to get on but it worked out for the best as the next IVF cycle resulted in my daughter!
Stick with them, it is frustrating but they are the experts, don't push it too much your body has to be ready to go through the punishment of IVF and besides emotionally you could probably do with a holiday from it too.
