Testing tomorrow

I was told to do HPT 2 weeks after embryo transfer - that will be tomorrow. However, I am still on progesterone pessaries - will they effect the result? Also, some people are asked to test later - why is this? I am so sure it is negative that I don't want to test - stupid or what! Could I risk doing an early test tonight? I have had bad AF pains all day today and on and off past few days and spotting on Sunday night. Helen, I posted you a message on the other thread - but fyi, I felt so AF-ish the day before I was due to test that I was convinced that it hadn't worked, got really upset etc. Anyway, I tested the night before I was due to and it came out positive! BUT then I panicked all night thinking that when I did the test at the proper time the next morning, that it would be negative! I know that HCG levels increase so amazingly fast that it's possible to be negative one day, and positive the next, so if you can, wait. Sunday night would have been about the right time for implantation so that could have been the spotting. Best of luck, am praying for you and all other 2 wwers to get + results. Sally x

Hi Helen I am testing on Friday (thats what the nurse said to do) ,cus they dont automatically test your blood, only if it is positive on 16days pt. I sneakly done one this morning 13days pt (havent told dh) and regretted it. It was neg! So will re-test on Friday now, cus theres only one left in the packet, and they are too damn expensive !!!!!! I kept getting af pains Sat and Mon, they have gone now. My discharge has gone also. But I feel very irritable, (pmt) so I Know it is a negative. Good Luck for tomorrow Helen. All of your symptoms sound very promising. I hope you have a ickle bun in the oven. I will be leaving IVF now until October time now. Need to have a breather from it all. i had tested early the first time and the test came out -. and as it turned out i was pregnant with twins.. i lost them . this time we have one little one and we are now 17 wks.. i was on progreston shots and vaginal.and had to take estrace.. good luck and sending you ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I want to wish you luck for tommorrow!!!! By the sound off your post i would say you were pregnant, i was like you very bad period pains (But nothing) sore back and i had some dry blood on the sat nite before testing on the wednesday, But i got a very strong positive from the hospital last wed and was delighted so was DH both had a good cry. I am sending you vibes and wishing you loads and loads off luck and love for tommorrow!!! Love Louise x x x x
