anyone experienced bleed in the 2Wk Wait?

Post by missathome »

Hi All

Im new to this but have been reading message board for couple of months now and you seem such a nice bunch i thought i could ask this question.
I had a FET on 27th Sep and am in my 2ww! on sunday day 11 i experienced slight pink blood on awakening. Nothing else since or pain but feel like i can feel my womb/ovarys if that makes sence, as if my period is about to start i think.

Has anyone else experienced this? Hospital advise complete rest until my PT.

hope someone replies :D :D [/b]

well, I am not sure, try to look for previous posts on 2ww, I think somebody gave an explanation to a pink blood. It something connected to an embrio implamentation. Are you testing on Oct 14th? Try to have some bed rest as your doctor say, I hope everything will be ok. Good luck.

I had seen the post about implantation bleeding but wondered if it was a comman experience.
I am resting as much as possible. I have taken this week off work and am spending most of the day in bed ;-).
I am due to test on the 14th.

Are you in a cycle at the moment?

Not long to go then ;-)
You dont mention if you have had treatment or whether this is a natural cycle?

I only ask because this is my second attempt in the last couple of months with a FET and i am on pogesterone and elleste solo which trick your body into thinking you are pregnant to try and help sustain the pregnancy.
In my last cycle i was convinced i was pregnant as i had all possible symptoms really strongly. This time i keep thinking the drugs arent working cos i dont seem to have any symptoms. Except since yesterday i have to keep going to the loo more frequently.

What about you? How are you feeling? Is the wait driving you mad?? :D

It sounds like implantation bleeding to me. I got a little brownish-pink bleeding about 3 days before my test date. I also could feel twinges in the uterus and ovaries.

Good luck!
Me 38, DH 52

2nd IVF 9/06- BFP identical twin boys!!

missathome, this is my 1st IVF cycle, I think all the symptoms, that I have are from progesterone, my breasts are tender, I am pretty emotional you know and I do run to the bathroom every 15 min:)

I am going nuts with a waiting. I mean I am trying to prepare myself for any outcome at all. Right now I am in my negative mood

I know its really hard going tell me about it ;-)
but try and stay positive i have researched loads and stress is the worst thing so try stay calm and just think that you may just have a little miracle inside you that will come out to play in June of next year!!!!

I swap between dreaming of a little one and the depths of despair!
This is my last frozen embryo and last attempt. Which is very sad for me if it doesnt work.

I must point out that i have two beautiful boys born through my first IVF cycle 9 years ago.
I have been trying for another child since that time using the 11 FE that we had from the first cycle of treatment.

So i know i am very lucky indeed but the longing and feelings for another child have always been so strong for me. Im not sure what i will do if this doesnt work.

Oh, you have two boys, pretty handful huh?:) I hope everything will work out for you this sat-y! How many embryos did you transfer?

Do you mind me asking who is having problems you or your husband?

I wish you lots of baby dust for thursday too!!!

I had 1 embryo left and it came through so we had the one put back.
At my clinic because i had 2 embryos put back initially and both were sucessful pregnancies they would not allow me to have more than 1 embryo at a time put back.

Which i understand but am not in agreament with. at my last cycle we had 2 viable embryos suvived the thaw, but only 1 was alowed to be put back ;-(((((

We have "unexplained infertility". Have been together 18 years and not used contraception in all that time! Were even told that perhaps with other partners we would concieve. What a horid thing to say

I dont mind answering anything youd like to ask :D

Im hoping this is helping us both by distracting us a little :D :D

missathome, thank you for a warm wishes! Lots and Lots of baby dust and positive thoughts to you too!!!!

we have a Male Factor (probably birth defect no Vas Deferens). It is going to be 2 years trying this year. Started to check myself 1st, if I wouldve check my DH at the same time, I would probably not lose so much time, but Oh well...

I don't understand, why only one embryo? Even if you had twins 9 years ago, and you don't mind having them again or at least putting 2 emryos every FET, why is it their business of telling you what to do?

it does help to keep the general conversation you know. I can't talk about HTP and BFP and BFN anymore

my close friends have "undefined infertility" and very hesitant to start IVF because of it. I guess it is more stressful when you know that you both are in perfect condition and still have no result.

Are you working at the moment or resting at home?
i think its equally hard either way.
But i suppose the day goes a little faster if you keep busy.

I would much rather not do a test at all. At least that way i can continue to fantasize about a little miracle growing inside me.

When i did an earlier FET last year my test date was xmas day!!
I didnt do the test until day after boxing day cos i didnt want it to spoil my special time with the boys.

Everyone here seems so excited by the prospect of the "test" and i do understand i tested 2 days early last time. But in this case i really am so scared to know the outcome.

My Hubby and I had tried for 7 years before our boys were born but were so blessed when we had 13 fertilised embryos to choose from.
(used 2 fresh and froze 11)
On the down side I had Ovarian Hyperstimmulation and was hospitalised for 3 weeks as i was so poorly. And believed i would never have children! until they did a test without my knowledge and then anounced it was positive :D :D :D

How many embryos did you get from this cycle? Any frozen?
