I don't know but would love to see answers too! I see others posting that they have twins due to their hcg number but I don't know how they know.
Anyone? What do the numbers mean? How do you know that you are having more than one baby based on hcg? What is minimum level of hcg to confirm pregnancy? Does a certain number mean your pg is less viable? Seems like a higher number is better?
Sorry I have no answers but am hoping for an hcg education! Thanks for this topic!

Hi lady's its a bit difficult to answer this question because of HCG its self ....
i have seen hcg in 20's go on to be a healthy baby and hcg over 100 go on to be a loss....there are no hard and fast rules for it and i think its used more as a guide than an absolute
a clinic will usually (i think)like to see a beta over 100 but some ask for anything over 15 ....as for twins same thing applies a really high beta could be a strong singleton as much as it could be twins or triplets
i think the main thing is the doubling rate of your HCG ...even that isnt proof in itself anything is wrong more of an idication ive seen betas increase slowly and go on to be fine.....
as for letters used do you mean.... 134 6dp3dt?????
if so that stands for
Beta 134 6 Days Post 3 Day Transfer
hope this didnt cause more confusion and its just my opinion and things ive seen...
