Hi Girls

You are complete seweeties. Thanks so muhc for my birthday messages. Tracey S - you are a pumpkin. Have you manged to pick yourself up off the floor yet that I have been taking asprin for nearly 2 years - like you said no wonder I have so mnay bruises!!! I told DH and we had a good laugh about it, don't forget to text me when I need to start again!

Well birthday was nice considering I am now 35 - OMG! We all went to Cayton Bay (DH and BLiss and me) for a nice walk on the beach etc. WE had a fab time and the sun was shining. DH is taking mt to Harvey Nicks in Leeds tomorrow for lunch and to chose a "handbag of my choice" How fantastic!

BUT I am really mega fed up. Can't believe I have got to 35 and still no kids. This was not in my plan at all. I can remember starting treatment and thinking, well it will be ok cos it will be all sorted by the time I'm 35, but nope, I had to start my own busines in between everything didn't I, and cos I am such an emotional wreck, only had our 3 ICSIs - once a year. I am really fed up and ashamed to say it, but I have cried myself to sleep the last 2 nights. Even welling up now. God, I hate all this....

Right, need to pull mnyself together don't I?

Traci, so sorry about your FSH levels - that's a real bummer, what's your next plan? I always feel better if I have a plan.

LOrraine, thanks for your wishes, what's the skinny with you?

Think we are going to have an FET, probabaly in August on a natural cycle, thanks to Tracey's wise words.

Well girls, better go, unfortunately, work is calling, yes even on a Saturday morning!

Much love to all, promise I will be more cherred up next time I am on the site.

Helen.
xxxxx

Hi Helen,

Oh no - I missed your birthday then, I thought it was today - sorry (would have sent a belated card if i'd known :( )

Apologies too for the hoax virus thing - Les is still in the dog house for that!

We all have our down days, you know that - and birthdays can be particulary hard. I thought I'd never be as old as my mum was when she had me, and I'm definitely going to be OLDER no matter now! So I can sympathise totally. You know you can phone if you want to talk things over too - I'll be here when I can.

Can't wait until our meet next week - make sure you bring your lovely new handbag won't you.

Have a wonderful day - Lots of love

Fiona xxxx

Hi Helen

Well right now I am playing the waiting game, start my first cycle of ICSI in August.
DH, the kids and myself have a holiday in July (10 days in Malta) to look forward to, expect AF to arrive about ten days after we get back so it will be full steam ahead then!

Drugs are ordered from my GP and I have an appt with the nurse at Kings on 17th July to go over the administration of them, getting a little nervous now as it all seems more imminent.

Will keep you informed!!

Hope that you got the handbag of your dreams, let us all know what it it like! (we are all madly jealous)

Have a good week and don't be so hard on yourself, things often have a way of working out OK, even when you least expect it.

Take care

Lorraine

Hi All

Well, had some fab retail therapy yesterday. Went to Leeds with DH and he treated me to some new jeans and a new bag - fantastic and we also had lunch in Harvey Nicks which was lovely.

Also spoke to my best buddy last night about seeing the consultant on Tuesday and went through the things he said, she's a nurse so it helps to talk it through with someone who has a medical knwoledge. I feel loads better and have pulled myself together - no more tears!

Thanks to all for posting and I guess 35 isn't that bad.

Fi - did you get some nice things for your hols and are you going anywhere nice??? Fill me in on all the details...

Love to all
Helen.
xxx

Helen its sounds as if you had a great birthday , well My FSH levels used to worry me at 10 and I know that I had one at 6.4 last year but now this year I have had 2 x 12.3's and now a 16 , I am so worried that this is it and when I go for my next AF day 1 test which wont be till after my hols in September and if it shows higher than 10 they said it might be as well to call it a day , I dont feel like I have a future with this anymore , I cant plan very much as Im too frightend that I will get let down , I am always an optimist but I feel like the wind had been knocked out of my sails as I have only had 2 goes at ICSI and I dont know about you but when you have your own business you are tough and have goals to succeed but this one beats me especially when you dont get a fair hearing . sorry to ramble just haveing a very bad day !!! didnt mean to use your thread to do it on .

Trace :(

HElen

well done on the shopping - pockets for aspirin too I hope - FET fab - follow me and youngster - I am 37 in July. Know what you mean re age but look at this old timer.
Traci
Levels fluctuate - have you tried asking about the new egg donations. They take an egg and then take out the nucleas from that and put yours in - this makes it your egg - they then add sperm as normal. sorry to make it sound like a nigella lawson or jamie oliver! Not sure how far along they are with actually doing it in this country but has proved to work - read it in the times!
Don't give up - big hug
Love
Tracey
xxxxxxx

Hi All

Weell we will have to start a new thread won't we - this one is constantly reminding me I am now 35 - OMG!!!! Only joking.

Traci, what a bummer for you, I don't mind you venting your feelings on this thread at all. FSH is just a weird thing, was it you that changed clinics to the 3 shires? I can't remember. Have you tried alternative therapies to try and bring your FSH down? Apparently Agnus Cactus is good? I might be telling you things that you already know here, but maybe do some research if you haven't done already. I know what you mean about your own business, you have to be tough and constantly take knocks, but this is soemthing we don't have control of honey. So, find out all you can and then plan around that, hard I know, but try. Don't give up yet, there's too much at stake here. BIG HUG COMING YOUR WAY {{{{{{{ }}}}}}}}

Tracey - yes, pocket for the asprin, it happens to say Gucci on it as well, how cool is that for carrying my faithful blood thinner??? Bruises slowly disappearing now!

Much love to all
Helen.
xxx
