Hi there I thought i would start a FET thread .

I had my mid cycle scan today and the doctor says that i have no follicule there. This was unusual as i always have my af however it varies from 28 -34 days. He says it could be due to stress or that i have already ovulated. Today is day 12. I have been 28 days since my M/C in Aug. He did a blood test and said that the clinic would ring later which eventuly they did at 7.30 at night and the nurse informed me that i have not ovulated and to start doing the ovulation sticks on sat and to phone them when i surge. I find this strange if i do not have a follicule!!!! If i have not surged by about tue/wed i have to phone them and will then start a medicated FET. Has this happened to anyone else????????

Anyone else doing FET at the moment?????

Hi Susan, I am doing a FET this month I just started taking Estrace
I had a very late period this month almost 3 weeks late. RE did blood work twice she said I ovulated very late this month. Maybe the same thing is happening to you. I can't tell you how happy I was to get my period!!! I hope everything works out for you!!

Hi Susan - I am doing FET thaw cycle right now. As I rarely/if ever ovulate I am doing an artificial cyle. You can either do a natural one or artificial one.

For me it means taking provynova (estrogen I think) to build up the lining and then progesterone later. I am on day 3 of the provy and I have scan next Thursday to see how it is building up. All going to plan should do the ET in 2 or 3 weeks from now. Keep me posted how you go.

How are you hunny?
I'm so glad you are trying again after last times heart breaking M/C.

I hope and pray it all works out for you this time and you get the Strong BFP you so deserve and have a healthy pregnancy.

I too am in the middle of a FET, i go for my scan today to check my lining and providing everything is ok, I am booked in for my FET on 17th (next Friday).

Hi jchianca, Angie 65 and Rachel. I am ment to be doing a natural cycle but it might be changed to a medicated one on day 21 if i have not ovulated. i have done a test today and no surge. the doctor told me to start on sat but i did not want to miss it. But as the other doctor said there was no follicule and that i would not be ovulating but i will hopefully proof him wrong. I have to have IVIG for my NKcs and take steroids and clexane to thin blood and also baby asprin.

Do any of you have immune problems???

Rachel it is not long till next Friday. How was your scan today???

Hi Girls,

I am so glad that there is a seperate thread for FET as well.

Susan, I went for scans and also found that I did not have follicles so the Docs decided that I should have medication for my FET cycle. I then waited and waited for my next AF and it never came for three months. This may have been due to me being very stressed at work the last couple of months.

I finally had to induce my period and then start my cycle. I am now on my down regs and Progynova to get my lining thickened and hope to have my FET around the 20th of Nov. I am quite excited and nervous at the same time.

I am going for my first scan next Wed (15th of Nov)

I am hoping that success will strike for all of us soon.

Hi all

Still no surge for me now on day 17 so am feeling very disponded . Will probably be converted on to a dedicated cycle on day 21. How long do you have to take down regulators for??? While I have to have another AF????

Sita how come you had to wait until you had another AF before you started the medicated FET? where you not able to convert at day 21????

Hi girls, Hope everyone is feeling good....

I had my scan to check my lining, and it is not perfect, it's about the same as it has been all the times before, which doesn't inspire much hope.

It was 11.7mm thick and slightly defined, the dr said it's a bit better than before and graded it as a B.
I have 3 more shots of estrodial b4 the FET so it's still got time to improve.

So i'm on for FET next Friday 17th Nov and preg test 1st Dec.

Susan - This is how my cycle went,

BCP for 5 weeks, then AF,

lupron started 17th Oct till 13th Nov,

Estrodial shots every Tues & Fri from 31st Oct till 3 months pregnant,

US 10th Nov to check lining,

Progesterone in oil shots every evening from 14th Nov till 3 months pregnant,

medrol for 4 days from 14th Nov,

Doxycycline for 4 days from 14th Nov,

Asprin and pre-natel tablets from way before cycle.

Hi Girls,

Hope you are having a good day today...

Susan, I had to wait for my AF for the 2nd time because I had just gone through a traumatic OHSS and was hospitalised for about 7 days. The Docs felt that I have to give my body some rest before starting medication straight away.

When I was waiting for my 2nd AF, it never came for 3 months and I had to take medication to have it induced.

I am on the down regs now. It is best to consult your Docs and see if your body is ready for the medication. I hope everything works out for you.

hi everyone

Still no surge from me, so i phoned rhe clinic and they advised me to come in for a blood test which i have done. Will have to wait on the results now which should be later tonight.
