Hello all!

Finally, I can announce the birth of Lottie (middle name still under discussion), born 6lb 10 oz, on Friday 30th Jan. (Just about qualified for the Jan message board!)

Due on the 17th, she just wasn't ready to make her appearance, despite 3 false labours and 2 sweeps over 3 weeks ...

Hi all and good to hear from you. I'm still pg too. 38 weeks now. When I saw my midwife last week, she said I'm still 1/5 dropped, which is OK, but I had hoped to drop a bit more. Baby is closing in on average size now, so we don't want to get it too big. We discussed how I really need to try to ...

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! That's brilliant news, Nikki! Sorry that you had to go down the c-section road, but I guess it's the best thing for you and baby. The pics are great - beautiful baby - it's funny seeing what you look like too after all these months and mental images!

My baby's still in there ...

CONGRATULATIONS SAMEERA!!!! :D That's so great - no c-section and babies home with no problems - you must be so pleased. Really happy for you. I bet it feels good now that you can reclaim your body and lie down in all sorts of positions! Good luck with all the feeding/sleeping etc

Hello again

Great to hear you're still cooking Sameera. Shame about the rib pain and pelvis pain, but you're on the home straight now, so at least there will be an end to it soon (but not too soon hopefully!) Do you have any physio support for your pelvis? I have a compression belt for mine, which ...

Hi everyone

Sorry for going MIA, but things have been busy and also it's a bit disspriting when nobody else seems to be posting, so I thought I'd give it a break a couple of weeks to see if anyone returns to the fold!

Sameera - I can't believe you're having contractions and dilating - wow! You're ...

Denise - I think I can sometimes feel a foot too! It's the coolest thing. It's kinda surreal, thinking there's a person in there, but makes me smile every time. Fortunately it's not kicking anything that hurts yet. I spend all my time with my hand on my belly - sitting in meetings, on the train. It ...

Hi all,

Well I'm feeling a bit better than the last time I mailed. I've slept a bit better, which has made a huge amount of difference. I think I've got to grips with my IBS a bit - if I eat no sugar or saturated fat, then I don't get so bad a reaction and my rib pain is tolerable. So I'm mostly ...

Hi everyone. Gosh - haven't we all gone quiet. I thought after 10 days I'd have loads to catch up on, but there's only been 2 posts. I hope everyone's OK.

:!: Whinge alert :!:

I've had a bit of a miserable week. My hormones are just flaring up and I burst into tears uncontrollably most days. I ...

Hello again
Couldn't resist logging in even though I should really go home!

Sameera - glad your bed rest is working and your cervix is doing well - that's great news. 28 weeks is so cool - any time from now is pretty good, though obviously a few more weeks would be best. What's the glucose test ...

Hello everyone

Well it's been pretty quiet this fortnight on our board. I hope Sweetmonkey Jenn is OK - haven't heard for a long time. I'm just too busy to do daily threads like I used to. It'll have to be weekly for a while.

Things are OK - pretty hectic and more than a little stressful - so ...

Hello all

Sorry for being MIA all week - I've had a hellish week at work and have just been working at home all Saturday morning too. I'm so tired. Part of my week has been interviewing people to join my team, so I'm desperate for them to start and share the load, but it won't be for another month ...

Afternoon ladies. Glad you're all doing well.

Chelly - It's great that you've started getting all your nursery furniture. I haven't even given it any thought yet. Really ought to. My mum and gran are desperate to go shopping with me! I'm going to my aunt's on Monday and she's going to show me her ...

Good luck newtoivfgirl. We transferred one good embryo on day 5 and I'm now 22 weeks PG! Re: 2ww, try to keep yourself occupied so it's not the only thing you're thinking about otherwise it will drive you crazy! (Probably will anyway) Don't do anything too active, or you'll blame yourself if it ...

Glad to hear from you both
Sameera - sorry that you have to deal with bed rest, but a woman's gotta do what a woman's gotta do. It'll be worth it in the long run. You could try knitting bootees and a hat - we'll have winter babes! Learn a new language! My friend had bed rest for weeks in hospital ...
