My DH and I have unexplained and have just completed 1 failed ivf but have gone straight onto FET using clomid. Scan showed a few good follicles and doc suggested intercourse. What are the chances of conceiving from transfer and from the clomid. Obviously i would be ecstatic if it worked ...

Thanks for your reply, I went to clinic and they have started me on clomid for 5 days then told me to come in for a scan on wed 20th but that will be day 13 of my cycle, does that not sound a bit late to start checking the uterus wall.

This is driving me mad.

Hi girls,

Just had a BFN on my first IVF, I have 5 eggs on ice, can they just put them in straight away and do you still need to take some hormones. Has anyone done this. My AF came on Friday but i havent been to docs yet, is it too late to start now?

Any advice much appreciated.

7 fertilized but i dont the grade or how they are doing, i will find out this morning when i go in for transfer yikes. (that means only 2 day embies???)

Just back from ER about an hour ago and would you believe the doc missed one of the ovaries and i had to put out again for a second retrieval.

Anyway they got 8 eggs out of 29 follies, i thought i would get more but i am just hoping and praying at least 2 fertilise.

They finally got 8 eggs out of 29 follicles, i thought this was low, is it?

Could two rounds of anesthetic have any impact on implantation or general health?

There doesnt seem to be the option here so off to sleep I go.
I went to clinic today and they want me to take 1 more injection with the puregon pen (is this what everyone else uses?) So looks like ET will be delayed for a day. will prob be sat now.

Just been reading about NK but looks like the possibility of concieving are really high once treated. We have 'unexplained' and i keep wondering if it could be NK too. I dont think you get tested for this in standard testing. I am on my first IVF with ET next week so if it doesnt work ...

I am also going for ET around then and also doing accupuncture so will be thinking of you. This i my first IVF and I have 15 follicles (is this average)?
