Re: Spring 2010 mummys

Hi

How are you all doing? Did you all enjoy mothers day?

It seems like ages since anyone posted, I guess we are all too busy! How are your little ones? I bet they have changed loads.

Freddie is so different, walking everywhere, chattering away (in baby language of course), he has really big ...

Re: About to start treatment!

Motherhood is amazing, Freddie is perfect (although I think I am slightly biased) we are just planning a 1st birthday party. I am back at work and wishing I could be a stay at home mum

Yeah, I had to take the pill to regulate my cycle which seemed so wrong! I am not sure about the viagra though! I ...

Re: About to start treatment!

Hi Vicky!

So glad you are about to cycle again! The pill does seem strange but I had to take it. Do you get to transfer 2 as it is a frozen cycle?

Good luck, I have got everything crossed for you

Re: Spring 2010 mummys

Freddie is doing really well. He has been crawling for ages and ...

Re: ivfpredict.com ?? have you seen this?

I did this based on my last cycle (succesful) and it gave me a 22% chance and I am in the UK and I had a son, so either we really beat the odds or its rubish! Apparently now we have a 28% chance of another cycle working.

The thing is in the UK for the last few years women under 35 with blasts can ...

Re: New to IVF

3 free cycles is great. In Hull we get 2 fresh and a frozen if you have blastocysts (5 day embryos) to freeze, in Leeds its 1 fresh 1 frozen but in York they currently say none apparntley.

I lost lots of weight too before my cycle with slimming world, its the best incentive I ever had!

Re: New to IVF

Hi

Sorry to hear about your problems and need for IVF. I agree with your husband that a forum is a great idea. This forum has been a great help to me over the last couple of years and full of information.
I also had treatment on the NHS and was very lucky in getting 2 free cycles, the second of ...

Re: Day 3 transfers vs. Day 5 transfers

Just want to say we did 2 cycles. For both we transferred 1 5 day blast. 1 cycle was BFn and the 2nd resulted in our baby boy. We had no choices as it is highly regulated in the UK but you can see that 1 blast can work.

Good luck

Hi
I wouldn't worry. We had 8 perfect embies on day 3 and only 3 good blasts on day 5, we transferred 1 and have a beautiful boy from it.

Good luck

Re: Spring 2010 mummys

Hi everyone

How are you and you precious ones? Are you ready for Christmas?

Freddie is crawling around everywhere, it was a very frustrating task for him to master! As soon as he did though all he wants to do is stand up, boys! He is so cute and funny. He has had a couple of tummy bugs lately ...

Hi All

How are your little ones doing? I can't believe how time flies and how much they change!

Freddie is 7 months old now and has 2 teeth, he is trying to crawl so much and sways back and forth on all 4's but always ends up going backwards! He is just so funny and chatty all the time. He rolled ...

Re: Advice on how many embryos to transfer?

Hi

Its really a hard decision I think. I had no choice as legislation in the UK dictated that if you are under 35 and transferring a blast that you can only transfer one. My first cycle was BFN but my second resulted in my gorgeous son. I would have liked to have transferred 2 but am glad we didn't ...
