Thanks Kelly and Summer :) Your replies are great!

I'm not really losing hope (the 35% chance it will not take is just the statistical reality) but thinking even if I'm pregnant, I want to be on the waiting list for our 2nd child (see, I'm REALLY an optomist - hehe).

Thank you for the thread lead ...

WAITING LISTS for DE with CZECH IVF CLINICS

Hi Everyone:

I went through a DE cycle just recently and I suspect I am not pregnant (well, I'm 11Dpt3dt and the POAS keeping saying BFN so I'm calling the OB/GYN today and CLARIFYING I need a pregnancy test, AGAIN!)
The 2 embryos left over did not make it to freezing stage, so I have to start the ...

POAS

I am currently 10DPT3dt and my Czech doc told me that since I can't have my Beta run on Monday, July 6th (my Ob/gyn is not in town and forgot to leave the script behind for me), that I should do an over the counter urine test.

I didn't think this would be positive so early, so I'm ...

Question about the 2WW

I had my transfer done on the 25th of June. The doctor wanted me to have my pregnancy test run on the 6th of July. Originally, his paperwork said the 10th, but then he crossed it out and put the 6th. Is it exactly 14 days from the date of transfer?

I'm focused on this as my doctor's office didn't ...

ORAL PROGESTERONE BAD?

I was reading another post and got the distinct impression that taking oral progesterone after embryo implantation was less than ideal.
Is this so?

My Czech doc has me taking 200 mg oral progesterone 3 times daily, along with 2 mg oral estradiol 3 times daily.

THank you a BUNCH Ghost and Sabi :)

CONGRATS on you BFP Sabi :)

My doc in Czech didn't indicate I needed more than the one HCG test on the 6th...hmmm...seems like many of the ladies here are getting more than one to verify a progressing pregnancy....do you ask your Ob/Gyn to have one done every ...

6 days post ET - CRYING ANYONE?

Hi Everyone:

I'm a lurker (sounds creepy) but I love to read all your friendly posts :) and have been here for a few months.

My ET was 6-25-09 and I'm waiting impatiently for my Hcg on the 6th of July.

My flight back to the US was laborious at best and I must have cried 2 or 3 times a day. Now, I ...

Hi Everyone :)

I'm Jeannie, age 42. I'm going to be doing donor eggs at the end of June in Europe. VERY EXCITED, hoping for the best but trying to tell myself that nothing is magic (oh, except that baby dust - hehe) and I have a 60-70 percent chance of carrying a fullterm pregnancy.

It looks like ...

Pregnancy after age 40

I am getting ready to go to Europe for my IVF treatment with donor eggs.

I hadn't given it too much thought but some people have said to me: Aren't you going to a HIGH RISK specialist because of your age?

I thought, "huh?"

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this just ignorance or is it ...

FIBROID TUMORS - PLEASE SEND HELP!

Hi Everyone:

I'm new here and just got the devastating news from my OB/GYN that I have fibroid tumors (two of them at 3cm and 4cm) and that my uterus is LARGE. He doesn't know specifically what kind they are yet but I have gleaned from the internet that they are intramural tumors...what seem to be ...

Stimulation Schedule for Menopausal Clients with Donor Eggs

Does anyone have any sample STIMULATION SCHEDULES they can offer up. I am going to the Czech Republic for IVF with donor eggs and I am currently on biodentical hormones to keep my womb viable and prevent osteoporosis. However, I'm sure there is a very rigorous schedule women have to follow to make a ...

HI everyone -

I am Jeannie and I'm 42 years old. I live in a small town where they frown upon the idea of a woman having such a late pregnancy. Truth is, most of the females in this town are pregnant (multiple times) before they are 25 years old.

I know I would get a lot more understanding if I ...
