cvargas- my goodness, triple congrats to you! how exciting! cannot wait to hear how your next u/s goes!

i was thinking to look into making a chart for all the people ...

Thanks, Neffi that makes me feel better!

Good luck on your ultrasound...the waiting is the hardest part- worse than the 2ww (except maybe the end of the 2ww- that was horrible!)

I am so, incredibly tired and blahhh. I forced myself to drink a V8 today since we had pizza for lunch in the office and ...

Faith- Were they saying that the ultrasound was irregularly shaped? Note that the gestational sacs change shape ALL the time. My first ultrasound I was worrying that the shape was funny- like a teardrop (my RE didn't say anything about it). I worried until the next week when it was about a perfect ...

Anxious- I totally understand how you feel. I told some close friends and family as soon as I found out I was pregnant (they knew we were doing IVF so hard to keep the news in :) After we heard the heartbeats we told a few members of our extended family and since my pregnancy is very high risk ...

baylorbear- I am SO sorry for your loss. How awful and devastating.

I really appreciate your story and your input. I did not realize that identical twins in their own sacs may still share a placenta. The nurse I spoke to (who obviously didn't know what she was talking about) told me that if they ...

success mentioned...so confused about my surprise twin!

I am beyond confused here. My first beta was 195 at 14dpo, second one only doubled 83% in 2 days, third beta just barely doubled in 2 days.

My RE is at Cornell and very accomplished. He did an ultrasound at 5w4d and saw one gestational sac. He looked around for another sac, since I implanted two ...

I have read that it is normal for a h/b not to be detected until an embryo is 4mm. How big was it?

I definitely think 6 weeks is very early. My RE told me not to expect to see the h/b until 7 weeks. I saw (two!) heartbeats at 6 weeks, 5 days and did not see any hearbeat at 5 weeks, 4 days.

My RE told me not to freak if I didn't see the hearbeat at 6.7 weeks. Did the doctor see the embryo or a ...

OMG OMG OMG

Ladies, I had my 6.5 week ultrasound this AM and you won't believe but...it's IDENTICAL twins for me! Heard the beautiful heartbeats this AM...125 and 115bpm!! Unbelievable! I know identicals are more at risk for problems than fraternal but for now I cannot help but to be thrilled!

OMG!

Jm- I know how you feel and it's hard not to worry when your betas don't double in 48 hours. Mine doubled 83% the first time then slightly more than doubled for my third beta. As the prior posts state, greater than 60% is indicative of a healthy pregnancy.

keep in mind that not all women double at ...

Sarah- this is my first pregnancy as well. I am also 27 and did ICSI since my DH had poor sperm morphology. I will be on pins and needles until I see that heartbeat!

Wow- I have missed a lot! Welcome to all the new people!

How is everyone feeling today? I have been somewhat queasy in the AMs and after I eat a meal, but doing just fine. My symptoms come and go. I haven't had much cramping (some pulling here and there) and sometimes it hurts if I stretch out (has ...
