ARGCers nr 2

Hi Becky, Rachel,

Gosh, so much has been happening to you both since I checked the board! Rachael, I hope you get an A1 result from Chicago first thing tomorrow, to end the suspense, and that all goes well tomorrow evening. And Becky, I hope so much that your embies are settling in. You seem ...

High early E2, early follicles and surges

Hi Kristen, My FSH has been quite a bit higher than yours, usually 14 or 17 or once 20! When it came down to 11.9, the clinic gave me meds (clomid and gonal-F) and I produced 3 follicles (said to be a better response than expected) and I tried IUI that cycle. But recently the FSH has gone right down ...

ARGCers nr 2

Hello, I've been reading the previous thread as I'm at ARGC too. Good luck tomorrow Becky. I'm in my 40s, and my FSH has been too high for anything other than 1 stim cycle. And now, instead of high FSH, I have high early E2 and early maturing follicles for the third month in a row. Does anyone else ...

High early E2, early follicles and surges

For three months now I've had high E2 on D3, and also a big follicle (16 mm or bigger), together with a thicker lining, and an early surge (on D4 this month). Sometimes I get a second, weaker surge as well. I'm not on meds, because earlier in the year my FSH was too high and now my E2 is too high ...

Over-45s: clinics helping with natural or assisted cycles us

Thanks, Trace. I saw CARE in Nottingham and they were v. nice but said they couldn't really help except with donor eggs. But Northampton might be different, so I'll bear N'hants in mind!

Best wishes, Jenny (Clunas)

Over-45s: clinics helping with natural or assisted cycles us

Does anyone have advice about which clinics / doctors are willing to help a 46 y.o. try to conceive with her own eggs? I know the odds are very much against me, but I'd like to try a bit more before turning to a donor.

What techniques might these clinics think realistic for a high FSH-er (11 ...

Hi Di

Thanks for your 17 Sept message. Sorry to be slow getting back - have had a difficult 10 days or so. Interesting that you have one ovary more reliable than the other. My non-lazy (but oddly behaved) ovary has a 20 mm follicle on Day 3 this month, after another high Estradiol reading. So I'm hoping ...

Lazy ovary query from a newbie

Hello! I've been trying for a long time but am new to the board. I'd really appreciate some advice.

Does anyone have just one ovary responding well to stims? During my one IUI cycle in Feb. (FSH has since been too high for more), there were 3 good follicles on the left ovary, but only one ...
