Re: Experience with Club Foot?

A friend of mine adopted her son from the same country my daughter is from and he had a club foot. I believe he was 6 months when he came home, and the surgery was done by the age of two (not sure exactly when). He will have to see a specialist once a year to check on growth, but he's totally fine ...

Re: Pregnancy Acne...

I had the opposite problem. Bad skin before pregnancy, went on Accutane, got pg 1 1/2 months later, had GORGEOUS skin (which was expected), then started to break out again when the twins were about 6 weeks old. Now my face is back to the way it was pre-pregnancy. The hormones completely undid what ...

Re: Natural Cycle IVF GHOST or anyone

I did it 4 times...might as well do an IUI, same success rate. The first three tries I ovulated before ER (the third time they actually WATCHED my follicle collapse right after ovulation on an u/s about an hour before ER was scheduled). The last cycle they were able to get my egg, but did not ...

Re: Best advice for moms - please add to list!!!!

Oh I second DandMe about sex and milk!!! lol, nothing sexier than leaking milk. I suggest feeding the baby or pumping right beforehand (or wearing a bra). I was shocked at how painful sex the first time was because I had a c/s. I totally thought I wouldn't hurt that much since I didn't use anything ...

Re: Flying while 24wks with Twins

I agree with tc about going with your gut. I was supposed to fly around 19 weeks and my OB was a little iffy, so we cancelled the trip. When the time came I could have easily traveled, but there was so much walking involved in the trip I was glad I didn't go! At 24 weeks I was put on modified rest ...

Re: diaper bag recommendations

I'm on my second Petunia Pickle Bottom bag and I LOOOOOOVE them! My first lasted a good 4 years, through two kids, and multiple trips (including two trips to Russia and one to Kyrgyzstan). I finally had to retire it. I bought a new one for the twins and this time it's vinyl so it stays extra clean ...

Re: Natural Cycle FET

I'm interested in hearing the responses as well. We have 4 kids and are struggling with the same thing. I thought FOR SURE we would donate for adoption, but now we may use them. Not sure and won't decide (most likely) until the twins are a year old.

Re: Beautiful Babies Due in 2011 (Combined Group)

THREAD CRASHER!!

Leora - I had an SCH and had major bleeding at 10 weeks. I couldn't believe I DIDN'T lose a baby with that much blood! It was pretty good size too, and it eventually went away. I stopped bleeding at 16 weeks (no more major bleeds after that day) and it was gone by my 17 week u/s ...

Re: May Twins

Hi Hopeful! I'm not due in May, but I just had my girls in November. They are now 4 months old and just started sleeping through the night (whoo hoo)!!

I never had the swelling, but I started modified rest at 24 weeks. My mom moved in with us to help with our 5 & 3 year olds. I gained 48 pounds ...

Thread crashing!

Lou, saw your post. I got my doppler at 10w and found the hb that day. My friend borrowed it and couldn't find the hb until 12-13 weeks. I may have found mine earlier since there were two. At any rate, it REALLY was good to put my mind at ease, I'm glad you got one!

Re: embryo donation with some degree of openness

Sara, I would recommend looking into some of the adoption agencies like Nightlight Christian Adoptions or Bethany. Both have embryo programs that allow for a closed, semi open, or open adoption. I've looked into them because we are considering donating our embryos and I want to be involved in ...

YAY Lou! Love seeing that little bean :D You may remember that I had an SCH from 10-16weeks. Mine was pretty large but it eventually went away. It never got in the way of the girls growth. So happy for you!
