Hi Vikki

Have just seen your message on my positive post - sorry for the delay but now I'm not in 2WW I don't have the time to check the posts so often. In answer to your question I was in agony from Day 3 - I had the most awful pain where my ovaries are and it hurt to do anything but lay ...

Hi Natalie

I can't remember when you are back is it this week or next? How was France and what is your news was it positive or negative???? I cheated and tested on day 12 and got a positive. Five tests later it was still telling me positive so the clinic let me go in early for my blood test ...

Positive!!!!!!

I'm not quite ready to believe it but after doing a pregnancy test twice a day since day 12 they all say positive - and it's our first go. I'm booked in for my blood test tomorrow and Monday morning - can anyone tell me what to expect from there. Also, what is a chemical pregnancy and how likely is ...

6 day of 2ww

Hi Natalie

Sounds like you're having a touch of the blues I had the other day (if you read the post titled Day 14 or Day 16 that was me panicking and I got some good replies you might want to read through). I've been convinced I've felt pre menstrual for the last 4 days but nothing has ...

Hi natalie

The waiting is now starting to drive me nuts. I think 2ww must stand for 2 worst weeks not 2 week wait! As you can see I've been asking on the site what is the earliest you can test as I think I need to know as early as possible for the sake of my sanity. I'm now Day 10 and I am ...

Is it Day 14 or Day 16?

Could any of you ladies that have been through this before give me some advice? My clinic have told me to test 16 days after ET but reading the site most people seem to be testing at day 14 or even earlier. What is the earliest I can test and get a reliable result?
Also when is AF likely to ...

IVF Disaster

HI Julie from another Julie - lucky you are registered as JC or things could get confusing. I just wanted to say I agree with the others that your clinic seems to be at fault. I was scanned every other day and EC wasn't even talked about until I was stimulated enough. Initially I responded poorly to ...

New kid on the block

Morning Natalie
I have to say this is excellent having someone to talk to I shall miss you when you're on holiday but make sure you have a great one whatever the result while you're away. I'm glad your clinic told you to carry on as normal I've found it really hard being so inactive but when you ...

New kid on the block

Hi Natalie

Feeling loads better today - practically pain free now. Glad to hear you are also feeling better. Watch out for the dog walking though my clinic told me it was a no-no especially if the dog pulls. What have you got - I've got a 18 month old nutty labrador cross called Louis. Mind ...

New kid on the block

Hello again already

I've had IVF - problems with me not hubbie. I had 11 eggs collected which apparently was really good because it was all from one ovary - they can't get to the other one because of a huge fibroid covering it. 10 fertilised,2 were implanted and 7 were good enough to freeze ...

New kid on the block

Hi Natalie

I'm new too, I had my ET last Friday and am going through the boredom of a week off work. My advice would be to take one day at a time. By Monday I was feeling great, bloating was reducing and general soreness had nearly gone. I was starting to think perhaps I'll go back to work ...

Need Advice

Hi Donna

I've just gone through my first round of IVF and I had a general anaesthetic - knocked out completely can well recommend it. I was advised to go for it as my ovaries were very difficult to get to and they thought they might need to pummell me a bit so I was probably sorer than most ...

New girl finally starting to understand your abbreviations

I've looked at this site many many times over the last four weeks. The first time I thought I'd landed on another planet, I couldn't make head nor tail of all the abbreviations. Having now gone through my first round of IVF I feel confident enough to log on and join in and hopefully understand what ...
