I just wanted to say that reading everyone's posts today have really helped me.

I have been through 7 rounds of treatment (all negative) and had taken the decision to stop treatment.

I like many of you have been through ICSI due to male factor infertility which in some ways has made things harder ...

Hay fever Help

I too suffer from hat fever. Not sure why I've got sniffles in England in November but there you go!

My acupuncturist said no to antihistimines initially and then said that this was better than the allergic raection! She said that the worst thing was nasal spray and not to go near that.

Whilst ...

Like you I have gained weight with each IVF cycle. In fact I gained 2 1/2 stone after 3! I've now started slimming world and lost 1 1/2 stone so it can be done, but you're right you feel worse when you get a negative.

After my second IVF I looked as though someone had pumped me up with a bicycle ...

Yorkie,

You get it out of your system.

Life can seem very hard at times.

I must admit that having treatment through the NHS was also a nightmare for me so I know how you feel.

When I asked about my treatment - I was told that I was old (was 35 at the time!) had high FSH - I now know that this ...

You do indeed have to wait for less than 2 weeks. I had two blastocysts put in on Friday and will be tested a week tomorrow! Doesn't really seem that long

I know what you mean, I've been through 3 fresh cycles and 2 frozen. I've been tested for most things and on the last FET was treated with steroids for borderline lupus APA (although the 2nd blood test was negative). Like you I'm running out of reasons why this should not work. After my next FET (in ...

Nicola,

One of my friends who now has a 15 month baby through IVF had the same problem. It was identified after she had one fresh and one FET. She had to inject drugs until 12 weeks and it worked!

Hope this helps.

Regards

Many clinics over here rate the chances of frozen blastocyst as high if not higher than a fresh day 2 or 3 cycle.

On my last cycle I has 10 blastocysts and 8 of those were frozen.

Hope this helps.

I have been treated by Bourn Hall after a terrible experience with an NHS clinic.

The nurses are amazing, they are so knowledgable and take time to explain things. The consultants have also been brilliant.

Good luck!

Thank you for all your support. I'm afraid that it was negative. DH is devastated. I am trying to be strong for his sake. He has only just come to bed he is so upset and will not be going to work today.

He has said the usual things like it's not too late for me to find someone else.

Luckily his ...

Had tried to be positive as I said before although preparing myself for the worst.
Two things happened...

DH came home from work and has cried twice as he blames himeslf for us having to have treatment. That makes me feel guilty as I'm having enough of a problem holding things together and it makes ...

Thank you everyone for the messages.

Felt so ill today (sick and faint and so exhausted) had to come home.

Am trying to feel positive but have also prepared myself for the worst, that way I hopefully won't go off the rails so much if it fails.
