Hello all,

I hope you all had a wonderful christmas. I am exhausted now so I did little to contribute to the festivities, but managed christmas lunch with some good friends of ours. To my surprise I had a lot of fun and forgot how uncomfortable i was for a while. I even had a small glass of wine ...

Hi Girls,

Glad everyone is doing well and starting maternity leave. I am a carrier of Strep B and have been told at the first sign of labour to go in to the hospital to start the IV antibiotics (contractions or waters breaking). It was picked up early in my pregnancy because it was in my urine. I ...

Congratulations Sophie Jane and welcome to the other side. It's a fantastic feeling isn't it? Just try and relax (which is a laugh because I don't think any of us on this side did!). THe first 3 months went really slow for me because of all the worries and anxieties. But after that time has flown ...

Hi Alicia,

Just catching up on the posts as I have not been on much lately. I am a bit confused as I was told because I was having twins that there is no test for downs. Not sure if it is different in the UK. My midwife is coming in a couple of hours, I'll ask her.

Either way, good luck with the ...

Hi girls,

Oh Gem, definately a bag. How much stuff do you plan on taking and how long do you want to stay? I was told a bag for you and a bag for the baby. I was trying to be organised but I still haven't packed my bag yet! I think I want to be prepared, I am now officially the size of a 37 week ...
