Hi there Sammycat

Just remember it is quality not quantity. If I remember rightly on my last cycle they retrieved 6 eggs, 5 or 4 fertilized but only 3 carried on to day 3 but they were 2 grade A`s and 1 B. I didn`t fall pregnant I`m afraid to say but I can`t imagine that the amount retrieved is ...

Hi there

I had brown blood spotting too round about 5 weeks and everything was fine - I was told it was quite normal. The first 12 weeks drain you but once you hit the second trimester you´ll be full of energy (which is the best time to start organising the nusery!!!) so sleep as much as you can ...

Hi there Ladies

I`ve had a busy week with visitors and exams and now to top it all it looks like DS has chicken pox. Yesterday morning he woke up with what looked like a mosquito bite right in the middle of his forehead. I didn`t think much of it but after his afternoon nap his arms were covered in ...

Hi Yellow

I thought alot about adoption before our first cycle. I have always wanted to adopt since my sister has 2 wonderful adopted children and when I was younger my parents used to take in foster children. Like your DH mine too was very resistent and wanted to try IVF first. Obviously the whole ...

Hi Ladies

It seems like I`ve found a second home! Although I haven`t read the whole thread I have skimmed so I would just like to say good luck to all of you who are about to have FET`s or start fresh cycles.

I was lucky enough to fall pregnant with my first cycle of ICSI - ds born 11/06. I hoped ...

A reply for Ghost

Thanks very much for your input. Unfortunately I never saw your reply until after I`d visited the clinic so never touched on the subject of endometrial receptivity.

I did however have a very long chat with both my gyny and embyologist. Both agree (as you mentioned) that I was still too young for ...

Hi Welshgirl

I hope you are faring well with your wait.

A question for Ghost

Hello

I was wandering if you could advise me in anyway. I will quickly outline my history and then ask the question:

Back in Nov 2005 we started our first ICSI and I fell pregnant. There seems to be no problem with me but DH had back then few A grade swimmers, low count in general and little ...

Hi Sunseeker

I also live in Spain and am considering adoption (once again). Although my first cycle of ICSI was positive and I now have a little boy, today I got the result of my 2nd failed cycle in attempt for a brother / sister.

Before starting IVF for the first time DH (Spanish) and I went to ...

Thanks everyone for your answers.

Neffi, yes my BFP resulted in a healthy boy who is now 21 months.

Phoned in my negative result to clinic today and I was told to stick with the medication and do another HPT tom morning. This is like torture it is like instilling you with false hope.

Chemical Pregnancy

Hi everyone

I live in Spain and have therefore only experienced IVF terms and protocol in Spanish so there are a couple of things that I would love to be enlightened on if someone could spare a couple of minutes.

I`m on my 3rd cycle and after each transfer they have sent me home with what seems ...

Hi Blondy

I know where you are coming from. I am currently on my 2 WW albeit drawing to an end. Like you I detest needles and I remember that whilst cycling for the 1st time I thought how awful it was but the last 2 waits (this will be my third in total) have been horrific, much worse than all the ...

No 2nd line on preg test

Hi there

I haven`t visited or posted for a while and after reading just a few threads I don`t feel so lonely anymore. It is so easy to spiral into negativity when you are surrounded by people who fall pregnant at the drop of a hat.

I am one of the fortunate (and believe me I do not say this ...
