Hi Becky

Glad you got a bit of hopeful news. Fingers crossed you get to freeze all. We were going to have to wait over 6 months for our initial appt at the Royal so we paid privately for our first appointment to get the ball rolling then reverted to the NHS waiting list. Luckily we got to the top ...

Hiya bigJ

I had successful FET in sept and felt exactly like you about stopping the drugs. If I remember rightly, my doctor told me to stop them at about 9 - 10 weeks which I thought was really early. I was convinced it would all fall apart once I stopped the support. I spoke to one of the IVF ...

Just thought I'd let you know I got some reassurance today. I used a doppler at work (I'm a nurse) and found a heartbeat. This was the first time i had heard it and it brought a tear to my eye. The doppler was also picking up noises that I assume are kicks but just can't feel them. Feel so much ...

Hi girls,

Thanks for the replies. I'm just having another little wobble. I don't think I'll stop worrying til they are here. I may have felt something but just don't realise it. Thanks for the reassurance.

Should i be feeling movement?

Hi everyone,

Just looking for some reassurance. I'm 20+3 with twins and havent felt any movement yet. Thought I was feeling something one day last week but it went and I've had nothing since. I'm just a bit worried that I should be feeling something and I'm not. I'm due to go for my 22 week scan ...

I wish I'd had someone to question when I was going thru it all. Everyone on this board will give you different opinions on things and its great ...

Hi K

You start the sniffing on day 21 of your cycle. If I had to do it again, I'd def be knocked out for EC. It was absolutely horrendous. I was clueless about it. I knew it wouldn't be a picnic but didn't realise just how bad. SORRY!!! But sure its all worth it to get the precious end result ...

I got out my schedule to check time scales cos i've forgotten already!! I actually took the drugs in April but was at risk of hyperstimulation so they froze our embryos and the I had frozen embryo transfer in Sept.

You sniff for roughly 5 weeks, after 4 weeks of the sniffing you start the ...

Hiya Lucy,

Welcome!! I've been reading bout your stressful time. Docs always say its early days, I think its just to cover themselves. I even say it myself, and I'm just over 12 weeks!! You think the worrying would end after getting a BFP but it just continues. Try and relax and enjoy the fact that ...

Haven't a clue bout the registered post thing. Don't be worrying about it though. We had our first appointments privately and then changed over to NHS so it may just be something that they do.
