I have looked into getting treatment in India only. The Doctor I plan on going with worked/trained in California for six years before going back to India, he also trained in London.

Flying after IVF?

Is it okay to fly after IVF? Will the altitude change affect the pregnancy at all? I was a little worried as I plan to fly abroad for treatment.

Thanks Debra,

My flight will be about 12 hours, the Doctor I am consulting said I can return home the day after treatment. Then have my follow care done my my RE here. I will post in the pg after tmt board thanks for the tip. I am glad it worked out for you and your singer! LOL :D

Flying after IVF?

Hello, Thanks so much for the reply.

I have been talking with two different Doctor's in India over the past two days. Both of which trained in the US. I feel confident with both Dr's. The huge difference is one Dr says I need to stay in India for 20 days and the other will allow me to go home ...

India?

Is anyone from India or having (or already has had) IVF done in India? I was wondering what the cost of IVF was/is?

I contacted one clinic and the cost was $40,000 - $55,000 in Indian currancy does this sound right to you? Any help would be great!

PNV would be a good idea as well as folic acid (per my OB/GYN) said to start three months prior to TTC

Hello, $3000 seems like a deal to me. Here in the USA the average cost for IVF can run $8000 to $12000 each cycle. Also here in the states very few insurances cover IVF or any other fertility treatment, and our insurance covers's nothing. If we had ...
