I think Metformin and Glucophage are very similar, help with insulin resistance for women with PCOS. Yes, I took in pill form. 2 pills twice daily. I took until the BFP. I have read article upon article that doctors recommend staying on it through the first trimester (at least) to reduce the high ...
Just realized you have PCOS as well from another post, so feeling like you may be very similar to me. Question-did you take Metformin at all and, if so, did you get off when pregnant or are you still on?
Scan was yesterday and all looks well. They found a heartbeat (160 bpm). I have now been released from the IVF clinic and told to go see the OB! It would be soo nice to be pregnant for the holidays!! Keeping a PMA.
That is great news. Congrats. My numbers were -251 then 48 hours later 379 (poor) and then 48 hours later 900-something (cannot recall but more than doubled). I am 7 weeks and 3 days. Tomorrow I have a scan to see how it all looks. I too had two implanted and am pregnant only with one. I ...
Hi Leigh. Still no symptoms yet. I have a bit of insomnia, but not sure if that is just insomnia. I go in for my scan tomorrow 11/28 and it will be 7 weeks and 4 days. Your scan is the next day correct? Best of luck to you!
Just checking on on how everything is going with your pregnancy. I had a very similar situation with an hcg that did not double in 48 hours and then the third test did. I am very early still in my pregancy and curious how everything is going with yours.
Ok I am joining you ladies on this thread---but very nervous to do so (I am a worry wart). We've had a rocky few weeks (seemingly got period during 2 ww; then got a positive hcg; then found out it wasn't doubling properly; then told next hcg test did double ok-but could not ignore the history of the ...
I think we are both on the same cycle. I got my BFP on November 6th. I am 7 weeks and 1 day today and have no symptoms what so ever. Have you started to get any? My boobs are only sore from me squeezing them every day to see if they are sore..
Well, my news is not bad at all. Roller coaster is on its way back up. Doctor said I am still in that 25% chance range for a miscarriage BUT today he saw a yolk sac and perhaps a fetal pole and a flutter (on the last two not sure 100%). I am 6 weeks today and while I thought that was a bit behind in ...
Thanks everyone for the well wishes for tomorrow. I am really, truly hoping my roller coaster ride goes back up tomorrow. I am worried, however, as I have absolutely no pregnancy symptoms either. So c'est la vie. I will let you know when I get back.
Thanks for all your stories. I am going to go see my doctor on Thursday (I had made an apptmt weeks ago so figure might as well keep it). After much internet research and the other doctor's on the team opinion, I am not hopefull, but if I hear/learn anything on Thursday, I will let you know.
I swear the hits keep coming with this pregnancy. I am now officially prepared for a m/c. Basically, went in for my first u/s today at 5 weeks and 4 days and while there was a gestational sac (phew was worried about ectopic) there was no yolk sac. Doctor said with my history of an HCG level not ...
