I had told a group of my close female friends I was going through treatment, as I figured I needed their support. However, I was very vague about test dates and when I'd know if it had worked or not. All of them knew it was best to leave me alone and let me go to them with the news. I managed to ...

I am 22 weeks pregnant, and have had about 4 coldsores since I became pregnant. I think you are more prone to them when pregnant. I was advised not to use anything. I just use vaseline to prevent big scabs. Sorry, but I think you just have to put up with it... but it'll be worth it in the end!!

Hello there

I too had a biochemical pregnancy in my first IVF. I also had a natural pregnancy that resulted in a blighted ovum (sac, but no embryo, followed by D&C).

But despite having had two miscarriages, I am now 22 weeks pregnant with a lovely baby boy.

I put the miscarriages down to 'bad ...

Just wanted to say congratulations to you and your wife. Seeing the heartbeats is a massive step - although I know it's hard not to worry.

As for your wife's symptoms, although I only have one beanie in there, I have suffered from horrendous vomitting, nausea and lack of appetite, but it's nothing ...

... the veggie tray in fridge is full of left over meds that you hold on to "just in case" you will need them.

Absolute genius.

We were on half rations of vegetables for a year until I let DH dispose of my meds!! So true!!

Keep up the PMA - this is just what the doctor ordered!

I know this isn't really the same, but I have a friend who naturally had a BFP.
She took the test when her period was late and it was positive. She had an early scan and they said she was two weeks behind where she thought she was ie. the blob was too small to be where she'd calculated she was ...

Just remember all little beanies start out as black dots!
Hold on in there and hope the next scan is more conclusive for you.

Lisa I am so sorry. The same thing happened to me in my first IVF. I was so elated, then absolutely hit rock bottom. However, as you have said, you DID GET PREGNANT. This is a very positive thing.
And I'm now 16 weeks pregnant from my second IVF, so it really can happen! Hang on in there

I think you're very brave if you don't find out. I'm going to have to I think. Although DH keeps muttering about not finding out... I want to be able to decorate the room though and choose a name! My 16 week scan is on Friday, I think they'll probably have a good idea then what the baby is, but ...

I stopped injecting at 12 weeks exactly after we'd had our scan. There was no weaning off. I'm now 15 weeks and so far, so good.

Hello all

I've been off the threads for a while with acute morning sickness, which at 15 weeks is STILL going on... ARRGGGHHHH.

Anyway, I would like to join your thread please. My due date is 6 July. I have a scan next week at 16 weeks just to check everything's ok as I've had a bleed. However, I ...
