We had our scan today. TWINS! Two little hearts beating away nice and strong. We are thrilled, but I have to admit I am also a bit freaked out. I will have a 2 year old and twins!!!

Does anyone have any advice - like good websites to look at or good books to read. I feel like I need to arm myself ...

got my hcg results today. it's great! 3235 17 days post transfer. what a relief!! i can really believe it now - i am pregnant!!! ultrasound on february 21.

i also have ohss, which is hard to manage and maintain my busy life. drinking sports drinks all day. so i guess ohss is a good sign!

sounds like they're testing you 12 days after your transfer, which i think is standard. that's when my clinic tested me. it depends more on when the embryos were transferred than on when your period is due, as it takes a certain period of time for the embryos to put out hcg. hope this ...

IT'S POSITIVE!!!!! they tested me today instead of tomorrow because it seems i have developed ohss (which is really uncomfortable....) anyway, they just called. i'm pregnant and the number is REALLY strong! it's hard to believe and hasn't really sunk in.

nothing in ivf seems more true than you never know. for my retrieval they got 18 eggs, and only 2 fertilized, but those were excellent quality. you could end up with 8 eggs, and 8 excellent embryos. until it's all over, you just never know.... so hard to live with!
