thanks for the replies. I am trying not to give in and take a HPT, but as you all know its very tempting. I will hold out as long as I can. I go for a blood test on the 24th.

Thanks for all your responses. My RE said that it was probably due to chromosomal abnormalities since it happened in the first trimester. I am still waiting on m/c. I'm going to call the office tomorrow and get an appointment for D&C. When I'm not talking about it I'm okay, but as soon as I start I ...

waiting on m/c

At 8 weeks an u/s showed that the heartbeat had stopped. I am currently waiting on m/c. How long does it usually take to happen? Is there anything I can do to hurry the process?

I had another u/s at 7 weeks and the heart rate was 103. Its going up, but still slow. I am so worried. I'm scheduled to come in again at 8 weeks to see if the heart rate will be normal.

7 week heart rate

Hi ladies,
I posted last week about my 6 week heart rate of 92. I went to the RE today and the heart rate was 103, which is still low. Has anyone else experienced this and had a good outcome? RE said that by next week the heart rate should be at least 120 (he is hoping). I am so worried. He said the ...

heart rate at 6wks

Hi Ladies,
I am currently 6 weeks and 1 day and I had my first official u/s today. I saw the heart beat it was 92. I know this is on the low side, but the doctor didn't seem like anything was wrong. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it low because the heart is just starting to beat?

Hi Kelly,
My first beta was 26.1 and it has constantly doubled since then. I am 5 weeks with a beta of 1,172. So if you have a 29 that is good. I don't know about the Ovidrill shots though, I never had to take them with the progesterone.

Hi gigi,
I get my progesterone and estrogen checked every time that I go to the RE along with my HCG. I don't know if the shots are better than the suppositories, but from the medical knowledge that I have as a medical student both methods are a main line to the uterus. So no one should be better ...

New to this side

Hi ladies,
My name is Angel and I am currently 5 weeks. I am 25 and my DH is 34. I don't really have a diagnosis for my infertility. My doctor just said that I have ovulatory dysfunction. He did not want to call it PCOS. Anyway, my DH's sperm also isn't the best in the world. With all that being ...
