Hi there,

It has been such a long time since I posted the original thread. And man, how things have changed. The babies are 7 months old now and we have been on solids for over a month. They have moved into the nursery into separate cots. Bed time is now 99% stress free. Most days I manage to get ...

Thanks for your replies girls.

KristiA, Thank you for sharing your experience. Its inspiring. I'll need to work harder on sticking to set time routines. My excuse so far has been - that having the flexibility of feeding roughly every 3-4 hours allow me to manipulate the timetable such that they are ...

Routine for Twins

Hi there,

Our twin girls are now 16 weeks old. I have them co-bedding in the cot in our room. We have a rough routine with feeding every 4 hours but not at set times. We do have a set bed time of 7pm. They are not sleeping through the night yet. We are hoping to move the babies into the nursery ...

I too got a BFP using Accupunture with IVF. Of course there is no guarantee if this is a direct result. But I am pleased that I did the Accupunture.

Please make sure that you select an accupunturist who is used to working with IVF patients and will synchronise their treatment with the stages if ...

Hi all,

Glad to hear our babies are not the only ones hating being on their tummy. We are getting a bit worried and thought we'd have to force them to spend time on their tummy in order for them to learn to crawl. But it sounds like its happening to everyone else so its ok to let them be.

Cheers ...

Hi Jess,

Congratulations on the twin boys. How is the pregnancy going? I hope that you're fine and everything is progressing well.

We too bought 2 Cotbeds but the babies are still co-bedding in the same one. They don't seem to wake each other when they cry so I see no reason to split them at the ...

Hi there,

We have the Jane PowerTwin travel system. This comes with two car seats that you can load onto the buggy either facing you, facing out, or the babies facing each other. Once they can sit up better, the buggy sits them one behind the other in fighter pilot position.

We are very very ...

Hi Anna,

Nice to hear from you. And it would be great if the other girls will drop a line too for a quick update. Hope everyone's well.

We had our 16 week jab this week. This time they seem to be doing alright. They were cranky for a week after the 12 week Jab so fingers crossed. The girls have ...

Hi Anna, Hi girls,

Hope you are all well indeed. The twins have grown so much. They have now doubled their body weights, are smiling a lot and are responding to all sorts of toys. They are an absolute joy and delight for us. Alas, we had the 12 week jab last Tuesday and we've had a few nightmare ...

Hi girls,

Thank you for your kind words - I get so encouraged when I hear people tell me I'm doing well :-) Its not like we have a choice to do anything besides our very best. I must say I am surprised myself, by how upbeat I've been. How much I am enjoying being a mother of twins. How tolerant I ...

Oh Anna,

I know what you mean - I can't stop looking at the babies too!!!! They are so sweet and beautiful. Even when they cry (as long as its not the piercing loud frantic cry), its like music to my ears. And everything they do (eat, burp, smile, grow) just melts me. I'm totally gooey at the ...

My biggest waste of money was investing in a breast pump. My initial intention was to breastfeed the twins but the twins wouldn't latch on (hospital said its because they were too young) and so I thought of expressing. But as it turned out, I am not producing enough milk and I had to give up the ...
