Hi, DH has very low counts. Our RE recommended freezing up to three samples so that on the day of egg retrieval there will be enough sperm. He has had up to 100,000 per ml before but this last analysis there were only two in the field they were looking at. One motile, one non-motile.
My DH and I did IVF/ICSI nearly a year ago and were successful. We want to try again. DH just had a semen analysis done and it came back with only 2 sperm in the whole sample. Yet, he said the ejaculate looked "very cloudy". I thought cloudiness meant there are sperm in there.

Ghost, is it common to not have monitoring during a stim cycle? I thought that was standard. In our 1st and only cycle (which was a success) I had about 15 follicles I think and I know we got 11 eggs. All fertilized but only 5 ...
From what I understand the Dr will aspirate all follicles in an attempt to collect as many eggs as possible. If anything gets missed it will be reabsorbed into your body.
