In your clinic, would you go ahead and freeze a sample with just a few sperm in it? Wouldn't they likely all die on thawing?

With counts this low, how many vials should we plan on freezing ahead of time?

sperm cryopres. for ICSI--tech ? for Ghost or others

Hi, DH has very low counts. Our RE recommended freezing up to three samples so that on the day of egg retrieval there will be enough sperm. He has had up to 100,000 per ml before but this last analysis there were only two in the field they were looking at. One motile, one non-motile.

My question ...

testicular aspiration?

My DH and I did IVF/ICSI nearly a year ago and were successful. We want to try again. DH just had a semen analysis done and it came back with only 2 sperm in the whole sample. Yet, he said the ejaculate looked "very cloudy". I thought cloudiness meant there are sperm in there.

What are the best ...

Thank you

Thst is so awesome that you both got your BFPs! Thanks for your responses too. I've been through IVF before but somehow I still feel like I don't know anything.

It wasn't Care that I was talking about. I think they're too far away but I'll check it out online. Thanks again!

Hi, Obviously I'm not Ghost but I have a similar problem to yours in that I got 11 eggs but half of them quickly distintegrated after fert., and none made it to freeze. We did get pg though. DH has severe oligospermia (about 150,000/ml), with low motility. I was under the impression that motility ...

thank you and question for Ghost

Thank you Ghost and Bekki. I am still trying to decide just what to do.

Ghost, is it common to not have monitoring during a stim cycle? I thought that was standard. In our 1st and only cycle (which was a success) I had about 15 follicles I think and I know we got 11 eggs. All fertilized but only 5 ...

Tax deductability of IVF?

Are the costs of IVF tax deductable as a "qualified" medical expense? Thanks.

follicles

From what I understand the Dr will aspirate all follicles in an attempt to collect as many eggs as possible. If anything gets missed it will be reabsorbed into your body.

Advice on clinic please!!! long

Hello everyone, I'm new to this board. My husband and I got pg using IVF/ICSI and now have a wonderful son. We then moved to FL and now we want to try again.

We had a consultation today with a clinic in Orlando (not sure if I can post the name). I am a bit uneasy about their approach. The Dr said ...
