prematurity

Hi there,

I gave birth to b/g twins at 27 weeks in August and they are doing great. I will not lie...they spent a harrowing 100 days in the NICU and between the 2 of them, hit almost every issue that was outlined in the neonatal book. It's a rollercoaster ride, when one is doing well, the other isn ...

Hi

Hi Brittany,

Sorry it took so long to respond. I've tried 3x and my post disappears after I submit it. ARRGGH!

I did not have CGH done, it actually wasn't available when I did my IVF. I remember reading about it in their waiting room and they were about to start offering it. I did do PGD testing ...

I'm sorry for the barge in, but I had to congratulate some of my old cycle buddies. Shantala, Beachbaby and Lara......CONGRATULATIONS! I'm so happy for you! It is so wonderful to read about so many BFP's after all this time. My twins are keeping me super busy, but wanted to drop in and just say a ...

Sher Institute

Hi there,

I had a very positive experience with the Sher Institute in NY. My protocol was managed at their Long Island facility, but the retrieval and transfer was in Manhattan. I did IVF twice with them and got pregnant both times. Sadly the first pregnancy did end in a miscarriage, but my second ...

Congratulations Cat!

Sorry I haven't been around in months ladies, but have read up and glad everyone is doing well. I had a really rough pregnancy and spent 7 weeks in the hospital. My water broke at 4 months, but luckily I resealed, however, I did go into pre term labor at 27 weeks. The twins ...

Hi D and welcome to the thread!

My due date is also 11/5, but I am having twins and very likely won't go that far.

Sorry your big scan wasn't the event you had hoped for. Maybe on your next one you can ask them ahead of time to point out certain things and also request a different sonographer.

So ...

Hi Ladies.....

I had a pretty extensive sonogram yesterday where they measured everything on both babies to make sure they are growing at the right rate and a proportionate rate. We got to see kidneys, bladders, brains, spines, blood flow, it was amazing! I got to watch them for over an hour! DH ...

I have also been sick 24/7. I am pregnant with twins and the throwing up didn't start until week 12, just when I thought the nauseau would be passing. Boy was I wrong! My sickness originally happened in the evening, now it's morning and evening. I know we all have mixed emotions about complaining ...

Hi Tammy,

My dr. told me that if there are any bleeding episodes during the pregnancy, I would need the shot. He also said that if there weren't any, I would get a shot after the amnio, at 27 weeks and after the birth. Hope that helps.

So aside from these awful allergies, how are you feeling ...

Hi Ladies....

So glad to hear everyone is doing so well and the m/s has subsided! That gives me hope that the end is in sight for me.

I've had a rough week, m/s continues, although it's really e/s. OB called to tell me I have a UTI so I'm on antibiotics. Went for my allergy shot, allergist told me ...
